To Whom It May Concern:
We, the youth of Roanoke Valley, petition the Valley View Shopping Center to revoke the newly issued Youth Escort Policy. Not only does this course of action completely neglect the malls most devoted clients; it hinders the youth from congregating in a safe, well supervised area. The manner in which the shopping center is trying to achieve safety is unreasonable. Stronger enforcement of the Behavioral Code of Conduct would create a harmonious balance between the adolescent and more mature shopper.
Being the clientиle which this policy is disaffecting; we refuse to go unnoticed. We will forgo our patronage to the company until our business is appreciated.
