Petition for Live Free and Die Hard to get an R-rating

In June's VANITY FAIR, it states that Bruce Willis was initially
disappointed that his fourth DIE HARD film will likely be cut to get a PG-13.

Fox, this is simple. Every Die Hard film thus far has been rated R. There are certain things that a Die Hard fan wants in a Die Hard film: extremely violent action, and Bruce Willis saying motherfucker. These things simply will not be possible if you hack the film to PG-13.

So, this is simple. We, the undersigned, want Live Free or Die Hard to be Rated R. We need it to be rated R. If it gets a PG-13, we will not see it.

Let me repeat that, so you understand the significance of this statement:

If Live Free or Die Hard gets hacked up into a PG-13 movie, WE WILL NOT GO SEE IT.

We will not rent it. We will not watch it on TV. When having nerdy fan debates about the intricacies of the Die Hard saga, we won't consider it canon. We will not acknowledge its existence.

Please, Fox, do the right thing. Give us the bawdy action film we deserve.
