We, the undersigned, wish to kindly express our interest in the introduction of a multi-faith prayer room at Centro Bankstown to cater for the many Muslims that shop and work there. We all agree that Bankstown is a multicultural and diverse area and having this prayer room would serve as a purpose to both customers and employees alike. By increasing and promoting religious tolerance in the community, this prayer room, if implemented islamically [segregated for men and women] would also attract many shoppers from other centres to Centro Bankstown.
We strongly urge the Board to consider fulfiling our request of a prayer room at Centro Bankstown.
