Sinto-me extremamente afectado ao ver a "nova" construзгo na Ponta Delgada, й demasiado grande, estб mal colocada e magoa-me ver uma orla costeira tгo bonita afectada deste modo.
Na altura o nosso governo fez o que achou melhor para a populaзгo local. Tudo bem, estб na hora de admitir o erro e seguir em frente de modo a preservar e manter o Patrimуnio Natural da nossa linda ilha.
Nгo estou contra o nosso governo, gostaria apenas de estar COM o nosso governo e procurar uma soluзгo para esta situaзгo. A relocalizaзгo do pontгo seria a melhor opзгo, jб temos a matйria prima.
Se o pontгo for movido para Este os pescadores ficam protegidos e podem varar os barcos na rampa com seguranзa, a piscina pode ser protegida com alguns pйs de galo e uma onda de classe mundial serб restaurada o que trarб movimento e crescimento econуmico а Ponta Delgada.
Deste modo o nosso governo iria provar-nos ser um governo de confianзa e vanguardista que admite os seus erros, corrige-os e segue em frente!

I'm truly disturbed by the "new" construction in Ponta Delgada, it is way too big, misplaced and it hurts me to see such ao beautiful coastline changed this way.
Back then our government did what they tought that would be better for the village. OK, it's time to admit our errors and move on so we can preserve and mantain our island's Natural Patrimony.
I'm not against our government I'd just like to be with them and work out a solution that can both help the fisherman to landlock their boats, protect the pool and also be able to bring economical growth to Ponta Delgada restoring a world class wave.
All this is possible if the jetty is moved to the eastern side of the bay near the ramp, the fishermen will be protected and be able to landlock their boats even on the biggest swells. The pool could be protected with rocks, yes it would affect the wave on high tide but we have to negociate...
This way the coast line would be less affected, the fishermen would be safe, the world class wave could be restored/semi-restored, the pool would be kept safe and our government would prove us that we ARE a developed autonomous region that can admit what we did wrong, change and move on.
