We, the undersigned, international students at Louisiana State University, want to express our support for the ISA/ICC presidents decision to hold the election for the ISA/ICC governing boards on Saturday (May 12, 2007) from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
The set date is not ideal, but given the extraordinary circumstances, we feel that it is the best possible solution. We applaud the election board's efforts to accommodate voters that cannot personally be present during the election process due to other commitments. We are confident, that under the present circumstances the election board along with the board of the ISA has done everything in its power to find a solution that is in the best interest of ALL international students.
We are looking forward to a fair and democratic election on Saturday.
