I support the Surfrider Foundation, Malibu Chapter, in asking the California Coastal Commission to:
(1) Not allow an unpermitted private golf course to continue operating next to the Malibu Lagoon;
(2) Require the landowner to return the unpermitted private golf course to its use as a private garden park that was originally permitted by the California Coastal Commission; and
(3) Require the landowner to immediately put a halt to 20 years of pollution and install a runoff collection system that will eliminate any water, pollutants and pesticides from leaving the property and entering the Malibu Lagoon and the surf zone.
