We are concerned parents that feel that the Everyday Math curriculum (K- 5th Grade):

- Deemphasizes practice and mastery of basic fundamental skills
- Introduces far too many concepts with little depth
- Poorly presents information through a fast-moving spiral approach
- Promotes calculator reliance

We support the continued excellence from our dedicated educational staff and seek to have a cooperative environment, inclusive of parents, to implement a balanced mathematics curriculum within a reasonable time period.

720. David P | Have you provided supplemental/tutoring assistance for your child? No : There's nothing wrong with change, but if change in this case doesn't help our children learn to think and solve problems on their own, then it doesn't help them in the long run.
