After our last campaign/Petition the following was announced by Cancer Research.
Cancer Research UK Race for Life
We wanted to update you quickly on a change to our current rules for Race for Life. Some of our fans have recently expressed their disappointment that young boys weren’t able to take part in events this year. So we’ve listened to feedback from a range of supporters to gauge their feelings on the subject. As a result we’ve decided to reinstate the rule we trialled for the first time last year, so that boys aged 11 and under can participate in 2012, accompanied by a legal guardian. We're not quite ready yet but we're hoping to be able to sign boys up soon. We will let you know as soon as this is possible.
That being said, we are wanting you to sign and support our new campaign for Race for Life to accept families and more importantly men to run along side women in this race.
As we have pointed out on many occasions we all suffer with Cancer so we should unite in the 'Race for Life'. Please sign and share! Encourage your friends, family, FB friends to sign!
