Good Health magazine recently ran a story on the back of a television show which featured Kiwi women's horrifying results after beauty treatments (namely IPL). The way the Beauty Industry stands, there is no mandatory training or regulations at all governing operators of IPL and laser machinery in New Zealand.
We think that for salon integrity and trust, and for consumer safety - regulation is needed!
Please sign this petition and if we reach our required signatures we would forward them to MP Dr Paul Hutchison who is considering a Private Members Bill to regulate IPL, laser and sunbed use.
