The full performance of the concert features the following songs;
Hello, Some Might Say, Live Forever, Listen Up, The Masterplan, Don't Look Back In Anger, Talk Tonight, Morning Glory, Round Are Way, Cast No Shadow, Whatever, Wonderwall.
"MTV Unplugged" gave Oasis' lead guitarist and primary songwriter Noel Gallagher a chance to shine as lead singer in front of an international audience for the first time. Normally his brother Liam handled the vocals for the band but had to bow out shortly before the concert took place.
The concert has only been aired (with two songs edited out) on MTV. Fans have only had it on video by recording it off TV. It also exists on bootleg CD's in varying shades of sound quality.
Oasis fans deserve this excellent (and somewhat controversial at the time) concert in a properly remastered and mixed form on the highest quality formats available, namely CD and DVD.
While a CD release would offer fans the concert in digital stereo, a DVD release could provide a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundmix in addition to other supplements known to exist such as rehearsal footage (with Liam singing), interviews from then and now (to give perspective not only on the show itself but the circumstances surrounding the problems that arose.)
Sony/Epic can certainly make a good deal of money from a high quality, official release and fans will no longer have to settle for poor quality bootlegs.
