Fallout, first released in 1997, was, and continues to be, a masterpiece. However, we only have the finished product at our disposal, alongside a number of interviews and statements floating in the Internet. All the documentation about how Fallout was born, what it was originally intended to look like or how the final game was sculpted are almost entirely shrouded in mystery.
Chris Avellone, one of the designers of Fallout 2 and Van Buren released parts of the design documents to the fanbase in his Fallout Bible series. These elements were met with enthusiasm and joy. Now Bethesda has the ability to unveil the mystery entirely, by releasing the design documents to the Fallout fanbase. As these documents were created by entirely different people and teams, it wouldn't in any way be harmful to Bethesda Softworks and it's employees.
No, it would be an excellent move on their part, as it wouldn't require much effort, as they hold the assets in their possession, and would be a gesture of good faith to the fanbase, both hardcore and regular fans.
Please guys, release them. It's impossible to go wrong with this move.
