Bryan Singer did an admirable job with both X-Men and X-Men 2 paving the way for the new generation of "good" superhero comic to movie adaptations. It's thanks to him that movies such as Spiderman, Batman Begins, Hulk were sculptured to provide a balance between box office success and execution as a quality film with A-grade acting, story and overall direction. Sure along the way there's been a few dogs or cats if you like, Catwomen anyone ? Luckily those abominations also bombed at the box office, which you'd think would illuminate to the major movie studios that having a credible director in charge of a comic movie adaptation is just as important if not more than for any Oscar hopeful.
Essentially we have a huge fan base of the X-Men franchise that al loved what Singer did to it and all we ask is that Brett Ratner is removed from this project, together with his vision less approach and the project is either put on hold until Singer can finish it or until a right director is found for the job. Just look what Sam Remi did with Spiderman or Christopher Nolan with Batman Begins! I myself refuse to EVER ever watch this movie as long as a douche bag director such as Brett Ratner is attached to it.
