I propose that University of Plymouth Students Union end their endorsement and affiliation with Chris Shorey Student & Residential Lettings Agency.
It is widely conversed within the Plymouth University student community that Chris Shorey Lettings offer an exceptionally (and consistently) poor service - favouring themselves, their landlords and their bank balance before considering the needs of their students.
It angers me that our Students Union endorse, reccomend and advertise such a company to their own students - offering them advertising space throughout the union - leaflets - email advertising etc.
The list to their poor service seems to be endless (Unsafe housing / illegal administration charges / breaking tenancy agreement clauses / poor service / rudeness / poor complaints procedure / poor deposit return system / failing to offer support for housing problems mid term (mould/breakages/wear and tear) etc etc etc to name just a few).
If you agree that our Union should not be promoting such an awful company, then please take a minute to support this cause.
