We the undersigned identify ourselves as fans of the San Antonio Spurs. While we have very few qualms in general with the Spurs' front office, and in fact have full confidence in the front office regarding all basketball matters, we sign this document expressing disappointment with the song used to introduce the starting lineup of the Spurs.
We the undersigned are proud to be fans of the greatest basketball organization and team in today's NBA; However, we declare with full and unwavering conviction that the song "Get Ready For This!" by 2 Unlimited is hopelessly out of date, tiresome, and lacks the requisite dignity befitting the winningest franchise in the NBA in this new millenium.
We the undersigned do not wish to impose our view on what the replacement song should be, nor do we require that the song be replaced for the remainder of the 2004-2005 regular season and playoffs. We sign this in the hope that, on the opening night of the 2005-2006 regular season, a new song be played for the starting lineup and that "Get Ready For This!" is never again played in the SBC Center.
We the undersigned do not intend to pursue this matter any further if our document is reviewed and rejected. We only ask that our document receive fair and just consideration.
