Request for New, Inclusive Riverfront Research Park Master Planning Process

"I hereby express grave concerns regarding the proposed development for the "ORI Building" at the western end of the Riverfront Research Park. It is imperative that a transparent, meaningful, and participatory planning process occurs to update the 1989 Master Plan before development occurs north of the railroad tracks.

I implore the Oregon Research Institute to find a suitable alternative location for their building and ask the University of Oregon to fully engage the faculty, student and campus staff in the planning and design of University-owned property on the banks of the Willamette River."
