This is to bring to your kind attention that we request Emirates Airlines to start flying to Trichy.

Trichy Airport or Tiruchirapalli Airport (IATA: TRZ ; ICAO: VOTR) is a major airport mostly serving Tiruchirapalli and adjacent districts in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.It is the second largest airport in Tamilnadu after Chennai International Airport having connectivity to international destinations.

Most of the labourers ,middle-class people mostly from Gulf are depending upon Trichy Airport. If we travel to Chennai, Flying hours is approximately 4 hours from Dubai and then to reach our hometown it takes another 6-8 hours in Car or train.If it was Trichy,we would reach our home town within 2-3 hours in train or car.

There is service from Dubai to Trichy, AirIndia Express is operating daily flights from Dubai to Trichy and vice versa.In the name of Budget Airline,they are charging more than a standard airline.They offer very low baggage allowance as well as no food service.

If Emirates Airline,starts this Dubai-Trichy route, It will be a very profitable routes. I request atleast 3 flights weekly to fly from Dubai to Trichy or they can give a 1 hour layover in Trichy and then fly to Chennai.
