Sign Now
Dear Sir, Mam,
In 2006 it will be 50 years since the first Eurovision Song Contest was held. Ever since it has grown into the biggest musical event on television in the world, and a stage for upcoming talent.
Participants who won and didn't win, many became internationaly known after taking part at one of the contests.
Names like those of Abba, Julia Iglesias, Dulce Pontes, Brainstorm, Dana International, Ruth Jacott, Mocedades, and many others are known from Indonesia to Holland, from Japan to Australia.
To celebrate this astonishing 50th anniversary, we would like to ask the Postal Services of the individual participating countries, to issue a serie of stamps and if possible minisheet or stampbooklet, to commemorate this historic event.
We would like to ask the Postal Services to commemorate on these stamps their National winners, national participants, or international winners.
Other posibilities are to use the EBU logo, the old eurovision logo, etc.
These issues would not only be appreceated by the millions of Eurovision fans around the globe, but also by stamp collectors around the world.
We thank you for concidering such an issue,
