We call on you to acknowledge the human rights of former president of Haiti, Jean-Bertrand Aristide and his wife, Mildred Aristide, to return to their homeland. During this tragic moment in Haitis history, it is barbarous for the USA to be using its imperial power to keep the Aristides in South Africa against their will while pretending that it is the Haitian government that is denying entry to the Aristides. The Aristides have expressed their clear desire and commitment to return to Haiti in order to support their country in its time of great need. Protesters in Haiti and the United States have called for Aristide's return. Therefore, we, the undersigned, demand that the USA comply with the wishes of the Aristides immediately and respect their right to return to their country.
