Respond to the Passion: Film the Crusades!

We, the undersigned, were deeply troubled by Mel Gibson's recent film "The Passion of the Christ". The film innaccurately portrayed the Jews as directly responsible for the death of Jesus Christ, causing a rise in the already high number of anti-Semitic incidents across the world.
While Mr. Gibson denies that he or his film are anti-Semitic, his father, in turn, openly denies the Holocaust, and goes so far as to claim that the September 11th highjackings were planned and carried out by the Jews.
We believe that such claims are sickening and should not go unanswered. We therefore urge you to respond to Gibson's "Passion" by making a graphic movie demonstrating the Christian persecution - beating, torturing, maiming and killing - of the thousands of Jewish men, women and children who were unwilling to convert to Christianity during the period of the Crusades.
Mr. Spielberg, your "Schindler's List" has shown the world the unimaginable and inhumane atrocities of the Holocaust. By making a movie about the Crusades, you will not only open the eyes of millions to yet another episode of savageness and brutality towards the Jewish people, but also emphasize the immense suffering and pain that the Christians have inflicted on the Jews, which neither Mr. Gibson, nor his father, seem to acknowledge.
