Ride Rivington

Mountain biking is a growing sport offering fun and fitness to a wealth of people. We are determined to make it accessible to as many people as possible in a safe way.

The local authorities and United Utilities, who are jointly responsible for the maintenance and recreational use of fells around Rivington, Anglezarke, White Coppice and Belmont in varying degrees, must be called on to open more public bridleways.

We also insist that more is done to create new trails including purpose-built routes away from the Chinese gardens and other areas which are suffering from over use.

Our plea is that all walkers and bikers are given a fair chance to enjoy this stunning countryside in a safe way.
