Sack Dave Jones as manager of Cardiff City Football Club!

We, the undersigned, feel that Dave Jones should now be sacked from his position as manager of Cardiff City Football Club. He has failed in his stated objective this season of achieving promotion to the Premier League. We feel that with the squad of players that he had at his disposal, the club should have achieved automatic promotion, but he has been unable to forge his collection of talented footballers into a strong, cohesive team unit. We believe that he has therefore squandered the best chance we have had for many years of getting back into the top flight of football in the UK. We feel that there are many football club managers who would have been able to achieve promotion with the resources which were at the disposal of Dave Jones. At this time, there has been no indication that Dave Jones has had the decency to tender his resignation, so we feel that this petition is necessary in order to demonstrate the number of people who think that it is time for a change. This is in no way a personal attack on Dave Jones, just a public declaration that we think he has taken the club as far as he can.
