The heart of Cork City's football club lies with the fans. That the fans be able to both recieve accurate, up-to-date information professionally presented, and voice their opinions on the issues involving the club is of utmost importance. A fan without a voice or opinion, without knowledge or discussion, cannot be their best, cannot contribute anything but money to the club, and interest will wane. In the case of Cork City FC, a club whose fans are the backbone of the club, if the fans are not at their best, the club and team cannot be.
Cork City FC needs a website. In this day and age, the WWW is the most convenient, up-to-date and accurate source of information. We, the fans of Cork City FC, dream of a professional club with all the trappings of such; including an organised, structured forum for discussion, and news and information available to interest both ourselves, and potential fanatics.
I, Gavin Golden, and the undersigned, urge The Club to provide the fans with what we have come to expect, the very best in a club website, such as CityNet.cjb.net. We call upon you to re-emburse J.O'Callaghan fairly (for both parties) for his outstanding services to both the fans and the club itself, or support an equally outstanding 'site, quite a challenge indeed.

This website is essential for exiled City Fans, and maintains their contact with the club. With their continuing contact comes continuing support, and with that comes continuing revenue for the club. It's closure is not an option. Please save this site.
