Longstone Community Centre currently plays host to an After School Club which takes care of pupils from Longstone Primary School whilst their parents are working. Our community centre is also used by two youth clubs which helps to keep the youths off the streets!

Unfortunately, you have decided to close it down Putting people out of work and perhaps, more importantly, leaving children without After School Care and without anything to do in an evening leaving our community more susceptible to vandalism!

Please save our community centre you may think its worthless but, to us, its priceless!

87. Andrena G | I believe the reason for closing Longstone Community Centre is to save on running costs for the Council, However the running costs amount to a tiny 500 a year! ridiculous! why close a well used centre for a saving of such a tiny annual amount! pointless!
