Save our Libraries

We, the undersigned members of the Macarthur community, strongly object to any cuts to the funding of public libraries. In the era of the internet, equal access to information is vital. Libraries provide a free service offering a wealth of knowledge whether it comes from books or the World Wide Web. Any move to cut services or slash funding can only drive a wedge between the haves and have-nots of society.

We urge the State Government to scrap plans to cut funding to libraries and instead boost funding significantly so our children can have the future they deserve.
