We, the residents of Cranbury, New Jersey, strongly oppose the current legislation that proposes the appointment of a 'super' county superintendent. We believe that this appointment would be detrimental by taking away local control of our school and giving a politically appointed state official sweeping powers over local school district budgets; eliminating the savings we have already achieved; and, affecting school district grade organizations and boundaries. This legislation would not save property taxes.
We strongly support and value the Cranbury School and our relationship with Princeton High School. Thank you!
