Members of the Better Services, Better Value review panel have released statements regarding the recommendation to axe A&E and maternity services at St Helier Hospital. The panel are recommending the closure. Hospital staff could lose their jobs, while more live in Sutton could be lost as critically ill residents and expectant mums face significantly increased journey times to hospital.
