A recent schedule-change decision at BBC Radio Suffolk is due to take effect from this Autumn. The changes mean that James Hazell's very popular Mid-Morning Weekday Show will be replaced by the current Breakfast Show presenter, Mark Murphy.
James would be moved to Saturday and Sunday mornings only, and Terry Baxter, currently Director of Communications at Ipswich Town Football Club, is being brought in to replace Mark Murphy on the Breakfast Show.
We, the undersigned, would like to hear more of James Hazell on the radio than just six hours per week, and we urge BBC Radio Suffolk's Station Editor to reconsider the plans, to incorporate more air-time for this unique and caring presenter...
