Save Veronica Mars for a fourth season!

Dear Ms. Ostroff:

I want to congratulate CWTV on doing a fine job of replacing WB and UPN. Keep up the fine work on green-lighting new and new shows!

As you know, Veronica Mars, has not done so well in the Nielsen Ratings and that is important to a network like you in a cut-throat business. During the 8-week hiatus without Veronica Mars, your network has replaced the show with Pussycat Dolls. The Pussycat dolls, in my opinion, does not have a good influence on teenagers. After all, are we all suppose look like those girls? All skinny and beautiful? This is the very reason why in America there are more and more anorexics and suicidal teenagers. The very instance, that we are all suppose to look like those girls in the Pussycat Dolls is demeaning. It dehumanizes woman for what men think of us as: Playmates. Is this the very image that you want your network to have? Veronica Mars, on the other hand, is a smart witty show. The main character, Veronica, is not your typical teenagers. She a sleuth that solves crimes, but she has good influences on teenagers. Many teenagers look up to this particular character because she is a girl that stands firmly for her beliefs, no matter how many people she provokes.

Thank you for reading my message. Hope your network does the right thing of renewing Veronica Mars for several seasons. No matter what time your network places the show at, loyal fans will continue to persuade people to watch this fabulous show. It still has more story-telling to go! I wish your network the best of luck, since I know it is a tough decision. All Veronica Mars fans hope you make the right decision of letting the show stay for a long run!
