Bradford Council has announced they want to axe the Whetley Hill Resource Centre. The center, which is based in Manningham, has been looking after disabled adults for 35 years. To lose this center would greatly affect the lives of the people who go there or work there.
The council has announced it will review the service so they can streamline it so it would be more "personalised". In a telegraph and argus article, people have spoke that this could lead to people being isolated in their own homes.
I myself have a disabled father, and have seen the tremendous amount of strain it puts on carers. Whetley Hill has greatly helped with our family, so because of this, I have created this petition. Please support this cause and help keep Whetley Hill open.
