After a few days, the news of the husky appeared in the front page of the newspaper and report says that the husky attacked the small girl was known to all the people in Singapore. The father of the little girl was angry that the husky was off leashed in public places. The owner was also interviewed, and claimed that the husky was not aggressive, and as its was just adopted a month ago. She was not sure why the husky would attack anyone. And as she is jobless at the moment she could not afford to pay the medical bills of $3400.

According to the news report, the magistrate court can order to put to sleep the husky as it has bitten someone. I hope that a chance can be given to the young husky, to be under a firm owner who is willing to spend time correcting his behavior and also a chance to be a normal and happy husky. From what I know, the husky is only 1 yr and 9 months old. He is still considered a puppy and his aggression still have a chance to be corrected. I am not standing on the owner side as I totally agree that she should not have off leash the husky in pubic within the month of adoption, as the bonding between she and the husky is not strong and I witness she got difficulties in recalling the husky back.
I hope this incident will serve as a reminder for dog owners to take precautions in the future, when come to control of your dog. Im not a perfect owner to my dog too, but than I would like to be a responsible one.
Please do sign the petition to help the husky to be saved, if you think the young husky should be given a chance to live. Please do a small part to help him. The fault does not lie in the husky but its the fault of his ignorant owner.
