Please sign this petition if you believe that the Nottingham Green Belt (also known as the Clifton Pastures) is worth saving. Over the years, more and more land has been used to create thousands of new builds. Now Barratt Homes want to use the largest area of unenclosed farmland in Britain in order to create 5,500 new homes with only one third to be classed as Affordable Housing. The area is a truly unique landscape within Nottinghamshire and if we dont act now then it could be lost forever. It is clear that if the plans went ahead it would certainly destroy the unique beauty of this area.
