Have you ever heard of the test in Massachusetts called MCAS? If not, then I strongly suggest you keep reading. It is a test, in which students of 10th grade have to take and pass to see if they can graduate. In other words, if the students in 10th grade fail this test they will not graduate. 4th and 8th graders also have to take it, however the test will not count for graduation. What I am asking you is this: Please help the students, teachers, and parents in a little thing I like to call "Say good-bye to MCAS Testing." If we can get enough signitures, the state of Massachusetts must take it away. Now I am in 9th grade, and at my school I am doing a petition as well in a booklet; so far I have 80 signitures. A lot of the people I ask to sign say let's get rid of MCAS. I am not trying to get rid of it. All I am trying to do is not have it be based on graduating. Please help us do this. It would be most appreciated to everyone in Massachusetts. Thank you in helping us out!
