This is a petition for those supporters of Birmingham City Football Club who are upset at the undermining of it's club manager, Steve Bruce, by moral crusaders who have tried to influence his proposed transfer of Lee Bowyer, by organising a petition called 'Say No To Bowyer'.
We feel that it is part of Steve Bruce's current job to decide who is good enough to wear our shirt, both in ability and on moral grounds. We respect the manager's decisions and therefore if Steve Bruce wants to sign Lee Bowyer, we would welcome him to this club, just as we would welcome any other signing.
The manager in our opinion must be allowed to manage unhindered. How would it be possible to judge a manager in the future when you have taken away his right to bring in his first choices ?
So we back a move to sign Lee Bowyer by Birmingham City, if that is the wish of our manager and board.
