Schools Vs. Religion...

Teachers should be allowed to express their opinion on their religion. The rules, as they are now, do not allow teachers to express their opinions on religion, much less to converse with students about it. To you we ask why not? What is the harm in expressing one's opinion. That does not just mean Christianity, that means EVERY religion. We believe that teachers should be allowed to express their opinions freely as long as they are not trying to persuade students to change their religion. There have been many instances when a student was to see a teacher's Bible on the desk and ask them what the Bible might say on this topic, or what would you do based on your religion, and by the teacher telling the student, they got repremanded and some even lost their jobs. I urge you to give teachers more freedom of religion. Please at least give teachers the right to discuss religion IF the student is the one who initiates the topic.
We know that this will make our schools a better and more comfortable place to be. Thank you!
