We, the Undersigned, wish to petition Foxtel, Optus and Austar to include a fully dedicated Science Fiction Channel to it's lineup of Digital Channels.
When Foxtel goes Digital there will be more music channels, more science documentary channels, more sport channels, more kids channels and more entertainment channels we feel that we should not be getting more of what we already have, but more original programming as there have been many excellent science fiction programs that have been made over the past 5 decades.
We feel that as the good sci-fi tv series are on late at night that this is unfair and is the kind of disrespect that we have come to expect from the commercial networks.
We would be extremely grateful for a fully dedicated Science Fiction Channel possibly modelled on the United States or United Kingdom versions.

The only thing holding my household back from Foxtel Digital is the lack of Sci-Fi channel. The addition of Sci-Fi would make Foxtel Digital a worthwhile purchase

Science fiction can be enjoyed by both my husband and myself and with the large range of G rated sci-fi the children also. As subscribers we are often disapointed by the lack of programming we can watch together.
