Respected Sir,
We the undersigned, are deeply grieved by the recent tragic assassinations of Shia physicians in Pakistan. The murders seem to be sectarian-motivated. It has sent a wave of sadness and anger through the physicians of Pakistani origin living outside the country. Some of the martyred physicians were those who trained abroad and went back to help the people of Pakistan with missionary zeal.
We understand that your Government is doing all it can to halt this violence. This matter deserves your most utmost level of attention and action. If necessary your Government should use military protection and force to ensure that law and order prevails and that no more innocent lives are lost in the name of religion.
