Shonen-ai Dubs

This petition was created in an attempt to convince Media Blasters, and other anime providers, to dub some of the shounen-ai animes they sell in the United States. It has come to the attention of many that, though we too are in favor of the Japanese seiyuu (or original Japanse character voices), many of the shounen-ai animes have not, and most likely will not, have English dubs (or English character voices). We find this to be quite a shame.

Many of us enjoy wonderful shounen-ai animes, such as 'Loveless' and 'Sukisyo (Sukisho)', but much is left to be desired. While we love the story-lines and the characters, following the subtitles can become such a tedious, headache forming task. Some of us get tired of having to pause the show and rewind just to grab something we missed. While we understand that some things (sentences, plot, etc) may be lost in the English translations or be dropped entirely, it also makes it easier to follow the story hearing it in a language we understand.

All we are saying is that (though we do love these shows as they are) we would greatly appreciate it if Media Blasters, and other anime providers, would give a bilingual option on the DVDs, that way we can choose to watch it either in Japanese or English.
