'Shut Up, Jack Thompson'

We would like Jack Thompson to be somehow prevented from blaming all of the world's problems on video and computer games, for his own gain. We find it to be in extremely poor taste, particularly in the case of the recent tragic events at Virginia Tech, USA, when Mr Thompson appeared on a national US news network and blamed the entire event on 'violent video games'. This was just hours after the event, before the identity of the perpetrator had even been established, let alone any facts whatsoever. This was an obvious act of self-promotion, which is insensitive beyond comprehension.
It is obvious that Mr. Thompson is happy to use a tragedy to boost his own career. The signatures below mark the scale of international disapproval towards his disregard for the feelings of those who are truly affected by events such as these. We would like the media to consider ignoring Jack's desperate canvassing of his 'expert views', which are, in our opinion, utter nonsense.
