In Australia, Channel Nine decided to show Smallville on April 19th, and while I was extremely excited for the series return, i then remember how badly edited the first season of the show was here in Australia.
The show was shown on Channel Nine on Saturdays at 7.30.
The first season was shown in a much better timeslot, 7.30 Tuesdays and therefore attracted a far better audience but this time Channel Nine only have themselves to blame.
In the 7 episodes that Channel Nine showed before taking the show off air, they edited crucial scenes that left audiences thinking how does that work because crucial lines were taken out in fighting scenes that lead to later plot development.
Channel Nine say this is to make the show PG instead of M, but why bother making one of the most popular shows in the USA PG anyway. Seriously, why not show it M rated at the best of its ability.
Anyways, here in this forum, it would be great because this is what I and I'm sure all of you guys really want.
1. Firstly, the show to return after it was cancelled after 7 episodes, and Lineage was falsely claimed to be the season finale.
2. For it to be on in a timeslot that allows the episodes to be shown in full and unedited so that Smallville fans can watch the show the way that the creators intended it to be seen.
It would be great for any support in this case.
