SNAP entrance test held on 18th December, 2011 , in various cities across India, was a test to seek entrance into Symbiosis International University (SIU) affiliate colleges. However, there were many irregularities in the paper, which have come to light, and are briefly enlisted as
1. Incorrect question statements
2. Incorrect answer options
3. Multiple answer possibilities in a test which has single answer choice questions
4. Missing data from the question stem and answer options
5. Spelling mistakes and repeated answer options
In addition to this majority of the GK section questions and also the Quant section and LR section questions seem to have been exactly matching with a few online blogs and coaching institute question banks. It's hard to write this off as a mere coincidence, given the fact that more than 20 questions are under scrutiny in this regard, and also that in a couple of questions, even the mistake in the answer option seem to match with the alleged source. Ample proof of this is already available.
However, what has been the most disheartening has been SIU's clarifications in this regard. Inspite of being provided with ample proof of alleged source of questions, the glaring mistakes in question framing and typographical errors, the university has completely denied any such incidences. Thus , it is my appeal to all the fellow students who took the SNAP 2011 exam and who agree with the above , to kindly sign this petition and show their strength and determination in bringing this matter to its appropriate and rightful conclusion.
