Dear sony computer entertainment Europe,
We the European comunity believe that the price for the playstation 3 is set too high at the moment and would like you to consider lowering it a little bit. The price as it stands at the moment is 499 Euro's for the core and 599 Euro's or 425 for the premium SKU's. A price drop of say 40 Euro's or 25 so that will make the console 399 in the UK would be enough and also be below the *magic* 400 mark. This would greatly be apreciated.

I think 20Gb price drop and update is great, but this only applies to Japan, in america we only got the upgrade which is great, but the price is still a bit expensive, meaning less ps3s sold.

the xbox 360 looks like a good option at the moment if the price isn't reduced. i'm sure the premium 360 price will fall greatly when the ps3 is released.

I LOVE THE PS3! ...but how am I suppose to afford a $500 / $600 system and still manage to get maybe an extra contoller? Or a game? I am almost 16. My parents, and many others, are calling me an idiot for paying $500/$600 for a gaming product.
