We call on the English and Welsh parliamentary Boundary Commissions to utilise split wards in the creation of constituencies for the 2015 general election: (1) where this will prevent county, unitary-authority, London-borough and metropolitan-borough boundaries from being crossed, (2) where it will prevent towns and other communities from being divided between constituencies, and (3) where it will allow constituencies to be created which are similar to the 2005 or 2010 constituencies.
