State Mandated Insurance Coverage for Bariatric Surgery

This petition, by the people of the State of New Hampshire, respectfully requests that the Honorable Governor John Lynch propose state mandated insurance coverage for Bariatric (aka Weight Loss) Surgery in the State of New Hampshire.
Five states have mandated insurance coverage for Bariatric Surgery. Three other states have proposed mandated coverage. Forty Four States cover this surgery through Medicaid. New Hampshire is falling behind. As this treatable disease becomes more prevalent, coverage for this surgery becomes more difficult to obtain in the State of New Hampshire.
We, the People of the State of New Hampshire, request that the Honorable Governor John Lynch review the document created by Portsmouth Regional Hospital below and allow the citizens of the State of New Hampshire their God given right for treatment of this fully recognized disease and allow us to live by creating legislature calling for state mandated insurance coverage in the State of New Hampshire for all citizens.
Currently it is mandated that the employees of the State be covered. Please let us all be covered.
