This is a heartfelt plea to John Carpenter for him to finally acknowledge the existence of his abandoned, self-funded film project 'Stealth Bomber', starring Kurt Russell. We understand that the project was never completed and that hoping for an official release would be foolish. We would simply like to hear and understand the 'Stealth Bomber' story from the director's himself.
So far, the only information I have of this vaguest of ghost-stories I have teased mostly from chance meetings in Russian nightclubs of extras who were apparently employed by Carpenter during the production...This is the only time I ever saw footage from the movie.
Please, John. I have a suspicion Stealth Bomber is the greatest film never-quite made! The bootlegged footage I have had a chance to witness carries some of the most beautifully bleak mise-en-scene I have ever encountered.
I am not alone in wanting this story to be heard, hence this petition.
