STOP DEPORTATION AND VISA DECLINES OF GENUINE MIGRANTS!!!

My goal is to get Immigration to change they reason they decline visa's and the deportation of people who have paid taxes and done their best to complete visa requirements. Migrants pay thousands of dollars to New Zealand to study, live and work here. Immigration then send people home after their families have sacrificed a lot to get them here just because of minor things that cant be helped at the time. People go abroad to learn and get good jobs to help themselves, their families as well as benefiting New Zealand's economy. As a citizen when we study we are given the chance during the duration of that study to do work experience based on that degree. Not many companies will hire someone for such a big role in their company if that person does not have experience. It is near impossible to get hired strait into a managerial role. You need to prove yourself by working your way up or completing certain requirements for that company for example Health and safety courses etc. Sometimes that can not be completed in a year. Please people sign this petition so that we can try to relax the rules for those that have done everything in their power to abide by their Visa requirements. Visa requirements and visa applications are not given enough time for each individual to complete what needs to be done to meet Immigration's rules. They also do not give them enough time to apply for another visa if declined one or fight the application that was declined as they then become illegal in New Zealand. And then they wonder why we have over stayers or why people do illegal things. If we do not fight for them then who will? PLEASE SIGN!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. OK so here is an example of what has inspired me to do this: A guy has completed his diploma in business management, he is granted 1 year job search visa. Which means that he has one year to find a job related to his diploma. He goes to many interviews for managerial positions but is declined due to the fact that he has no hands on experience as a manager. He has wasted a few months going to such interviews. So he gets a job in a local restaurant with the promise of promotion to management as soon as he proves he is a dedicated and knowledgeable worker and completes the required Health and safety course. The course is only held every few months. By the time he has worked their for a while he asks to do that course as he needs apply for his next visa soon. But the next course is not for another 2 months and his visa expires in one month. He applies his work visa application with a letter from head office stating that as soon as he has his next visa he will become a manager. The guy also writes a letter stating why he couldn't sit the course that would give him his desired promotion but that in 2 months he can. He has the support letters to prove this. Immigration decline his visa because he was not hired for his diploma and his job is not management. Upset and worried he weighs his options for a week, does he take student again and loose the chance to get work visa again or does he apply relationship as he has been in one with a Citizen for 2 and half years. He wanted to be independent but now has no choice in his limited options. At the last minute he is called for an interview with a company that want to hire him as management. What a blessing from above to have this opportunity one week before his visa expires. He applies once again for his work visa with the correct job offer letter but is told that maybe that too will be declined. WHY? has he not just done what they originally declined his first one for lacking! In one week his visa expires and he is told that if he is not granted an interim visa while awaiting his application then he is illegal and must leave the country until he has received an answer. OK ENOUGH IS ENOUGH had he not done everything in his power to meet his requirements. What a very warped way of running our country. What a bad name we too are giving New Zealand with our immigration procedures and protocols..
