Please stop the deportation of people from the United Kingdom to Zimbabwe as these people under threat of deportation are asylum seekers fleeing from torture and death. Some are now on hunger strike as they prefer to die in this way than under torture. You are quite aware of the situation in Zimbabwe at present where political opponents to Mugabe are not tolerated. Even those who voted for him have had their homes razed. What chance will anyone have who has fled and is forcibly returned? There is no justification for this policy. No one should be condemned to the likelihood of torture and death.
