STOP ILLEGAL INSOURCING AND SAVE JOBS FOR CANADIANS

As many Canadians struggling to find a job, some Indian I.T. companies are illegally placing thousands of foreign workers in Canadian companies. These I.T. consulting companies are simply claiming certain unique skills to obtain positive LMO and then a work permit. Once they get the work permit, these companies are sending the foreign workers to several Canadian companies towork in the jobs that are not eligible for positive LMO or work permit.
A simple example:
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) applies for a positive LMO for Mr XYZ from India. They claim that Mr XYZ is an expert in Embedded software technology and wants to hire him as Embedded Software Engineer.
Once they get LMO and Work Permit, they send Mr XYZ to work in Rogers as a Software Tester.
There are several thousands of people working for Indian I.T. consulting companies in Canada. To name a few: TCS, Satyam Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, etc. These companies bring people on work permits and send them to Canadian companies such as Rogers, CIBC, TD, BMO, Bell, RBC, RIM, Manulife and many more.
As per my study, more than 95 per cent work permit holders for I.T. companies are working in the jobs that are not eligible for work permit. In other words, they get a work permit for one job and work in another job.
It is time stop this illegal activity and help fellow Canadian citizens to fair job opportunities.
