Stop Islamaphobia in the Media

We the under signed feel that the view of Muslims are not being accurately represented in the media, and that the potrayal of Muslims is also inaccurate. This applies especially in light of recent events, that have occurred as a result of the caricature of the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)in a number of European newspapers and magazines. We also feel that the media is purposely seeking the views of extremists and radicals with a view to demonise Islam, it's teaching and it's followers, by approaching such groups (who are a minority) for their radical views. We demand that the media stops this and seeks proper understanding from Muslims, as the media does have the means and know-how to do this. We are prepared to help the media develop an understanding.
