Arkansas is the state with the 8th highest teen pregnancy rate and recieved an 'F' on NARAL'S Grade on choice related laws. We support the use of Telemedicine (web-cam) abortion, which is typically from a clinic in a large urban center. A doctor on one end of the tele-communication process communicates with a woman at a remote location by means of a video conferencing system. We support funding to Planned Parenthood who not only performs abortion services, which is actually a small part of its services, but all STD screening, Breast/Ovarian cancer screenings, Pap tests and Pelvic Exams, and distributes birth control to list just a few for women. Men also receive aid from Planned Parenthood in the form of Testicular Cancer screenings, infertility help, and supplies birth control for men as well. We support the end of Abstinence only sexual education in opt for an efficient comprehensive Sexual Education Class to infrom teens of the use of contraceptives without biased propaganda and without the imposing of religion on people. We believe women are intelligent enough to decided what is best in their situation(s), and should be allowed to make the choice to abort or not on her own. We ask for you to stand with us and support Women Reproductive Rights in this State of ours known as Arkansas by blocking all Anti-Choice Bills that come before you and abolishing certain laws to prohibit any right to choose. ----------------
