Stop The FCAT Standardized Test

I personally, and the undersigned, believe that FCAT is a waste of our time.
We learn nothing in school, except FCAT. My question is this, when will we use FCAT in our adult lives? Aren't we supposed to learn materials such as, financial growth and other things that will help us in our walk through life?
At my school, Columbia High School, Lake City, our supposed mission statement is '... To educate students to become successful in life.' I've asked my parents multiple times when they use FCAT. Their reply, never.
I believe we SHOULD learn the basics, such as algebra, english, and literature.
In our classes we are REQUIRED to take, we only learn things that will be on this standardized test.
In Algebra II, when my teacher is asked when we will use what we learn, she replies ' On the FCAT.' Keep in mind though, that most juniors have already passed the math portion of the test, so, why waste our time?
